Oh how I like sculpting!
I’m too lazy to get to all the ins and outs of any software package, but thus far I’m quite happy with what I’m making. Which is not much, but the things that I make more or less come out like I intended them to.

Hmm, I think I’m repeating myself, so [...]

As part of my sculpt learning curve, I promised Panacea to try and make a low prim lantern for her Chicken Market. I have done a couple of versions, and this is the one I like best, although most people might find it a bit too plump.

The fish in Sculpt Studio

I like making things in Second Life, although I have never considered myself to be an artist. The fruit of my labour is not brilliant but I aim for it to be fun, and wearable if it’s clothes. What I’d like to do more is sculpt (which is quite hard for me because I hardly [...]

Or am I opportunist – or am I just a little pawn in the overall scheme of things?
My mood swings are generally mild but I tend to doubt my own desicions. I reactivated my account on SLX a few weeks ago, mainly because I decided that when I would cut off everything LL related, I’d [...]

So I cancelled my account on SLX today. I just added all my stuff recently and now I inactivated them all, withdrew my funds and actually cancelled my account.
I commend people who find niche in a market, go for it and make a decent buck out of it. That’s what the folks of SLX and [...]

And here are the sweaters, more than reasonably priced for L$75 each.
I’m very happy with how they have turned out!

I wanted to do something totally new, and something I personally miss is clothing to combine with.
So I went and created 5 neutral slim sculpted jeans, and 11 sweaters.
Here are the jeans – they’re L$50 each and they’re great to combine with whatever you want to wear!

Currently I’m in the process of finding out what the best website voting software is…
I thought there would be thousands of free polls available, and there are. Unfortunately, we want the little bit of extra functionality, so I keep on searching. Here is the standard WordPress (this blog, and the blog raglanshire.com runs on) poll [...]

I know I’ve not been writing much (for whom it may concern anyway), but since I’m getting a new PC soon I’m cleaning up the old one and came across this:

I’ve been seriously considering applying for a position at LL…
Maybe you haven’t read M Linden’s latest slap in the face of a new group of Residents, along with the ones that already were dismissed.
Current developments shed a whole new light on the Tao of Linden:

(umm yes, I do feuilletons )
So the graphics card is awesome! It had only 1 little flaw: it kept on crashing SL.
And I did check the website for supported hardware (it was supported) but when I started searching after I got the card, I found a lot of entries in the SecondLife JIRA about [...]

I got myself a new graphics card: a Sapphire HD 3850 512 MB to be precise.
It’s built upon the Radeon HD 3850 core, and I expect much of it! (tho SL kept crashing after I installed it yesterday   )
It replaces my nVidia FX 5900 XT with 128MB memory on board.

Stare at this blurred picture for about 15 seconds,
and in the end you will see a giraffe.
Yes you will. I promise.
